David Falbo
I started playing the guitar almost by accident in 1975 at the age of 19. I totally fell in love with it and since then I can hardly put it down. Initially, I immersed myself in classical guitar and over the next 25 years, I maintained a private teaching studio while composing and performing.
My music education began at UMD. I continued my music education at the University of St. Thomas while working full time outside of music and raising three children. In 2004, I graduated with a Degree in Guitar Pedagogy from Metropolitan State University.
Since then, I've taught at local music stores, private music schools and had a number of private students at my home studio. In 2020 I taught virtually for St. Paul Academy and private lessons.
In 2021, I retired from teaching and am focusing on performing and writing.
